PUBLICATION

The 250pp. publication Openness and Idealism: Soviet Posters,1985-1991 (Milan: Skira, 2023),

co-authored by J. Speed Carroll, Pepe Karmel, Andy Willimott, which includes interviews with the artists by Bela Shayevich  will accompany the exhibition. Ten catalogues are included once the exhibition is contracted for a venue.

 

CURATOR

Pepe Karmel, PhD, Professor, Department of Art History (until 2007, Department of Fine Arts), New York University, 1999 to the present (tenured in September 2003, promoted to full professor in 2022).

All works are from the Martha H. and J. Speed Carroll Collection

The exhibition and tour are organized by SNAP Editions, LLC.
